Born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, Jacob first attended Lamar University under an early college program followed by Arizona State University. Focused on practical solutions, Jacob selected a finance degree because even if he did not earn a career in that field, the knowledge earned would be invaluable throughout his life. After becoming an advisor, he has continued to use that same practical mentality in educating his clients. His passion, however, has shifted toward relationship building and he prides himself on always being only a phone call away for his clients. Jacob is well versed in CALSTRS, CALPERS, JRS II, Texas TRS, and Kentucky TRS. He plans on earning his CFP designation in the near future.
Outside of work, Jacob’s most prevalent passion is music. Having received a non-standard largely self-taught piano education from the age of 8, Jacob composes piano music on occasion and can frequently be found attending music festivals throughout the country. He also previously captained an esports team at Arizona State University, and as a result has been excited to see the growth of esports over the past decade.
